Shipping Policy
Processing and lead times
Orders are processed and dispatched according to the estimated processing or lead time shown on the relevant product page, at checkout, or in the order confirmation.
Certain 4x4 accessories may be made to order, specially sourced, oversized, or require additional preparation before dispatch. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the applicable lead time. Lead times are estimates, are not guaranteed, and may change due to supplier availability, production schedules, quality checks, public holidays, carrier capacity, customs procedures, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Estimated transit times begin only after an order has been dispatched. For provisions concerning delivery delays and transfer of title and risk of loss, please refer to Section 5 of our Terms of Service.
Courier and shipping method
We determine the courier, freight provider, service level, shipping route, and packaging method used for each order at our discretion. Selection may depend on the product’s size, weight, destination, delivery requirements, carrier availability, and applicable shipping restrictions.
Large, heavy, or bulky items may be sent by freight carrier rather than a standard parcel courier. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery address is accessible and suitable for the selected carrier and shipment type.
Contact and delivery details
You must provide complete, accurate, and current delivery and contact information when placing an order, including your full name, delivery address, postal code where applicable, email address, and a valid telephone or mobile number.
We may share the necessary contact and delivery information with the selected courier or freight provider so it can arrange delivery, contact you about customs clearance, or collect duties, taxes, and related charges. Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for monitoring courier communications and responding promptly to requests for customs information, delivery instructions, payment, or other action required to complete delivery.
Duties, taxes, and import charges
Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, prices and shipping charges do not include import duties, customs duties, taxes, value-added tax, goods and services tax, brokerage fees, customs-clearance fees, storage fees, or similar destination-country charges.
For international deliveries, the buyer is solely responsible for paying all duties, taxes, fees, and charges assessed by customs authorities, the courier, or any other relevant authority. These amounts vary by destination and are outside Gravel Designs’ control. Shopify likewise advises merchants to clearly tell international customers when they are responsible for duties, taxes, and possible carrier handling fees upon delivery.shopify
If the courier contacts you concerning customs clearance or payment of import charges, you must respond and pay the required amount promptly. We are not responsible for delivery delays, failed delivery, storage charges, return costs, or other losses arising from a customer’s failure to provide correct contact details, respond to the courier, complete customs requirements, or pay applicable import charges.
Tracking and delivery status
Where tracking is available, we will provide tracking details after dispatch. You are responsible for reviewing tracking updates and contacting the courier directly and promptly if action is required to arrange delivery, provide customs documents, or settle import charges.
Refused or undeliverable shipments
If an order is refused, returned, held, abandoned, or otherwise cannot be delivered because you did not pay applicable duties, taxes, or fees; did not respond to the courier; provided inaccurate information; or failed to complete customs or delivery requirements, any rights or remedies relating to the order will be handled under our Refund Policy and applicable law.
This Shipping Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy. Where there is any inconsistency, the Terms of Service and Refund Policy will apply to the extent permitted by applicable law.
